Jesus, we are indeed like sheep without a shepherd. We are creatures, who because of our fallen nature, need to be led and shown the way. Be there for us to provide us with the never ending love that a shepherd shows his sheep. Keep our flock together Lord and bring into our fold all those hopelessly lost sheep looking for a shepherd to keep them safe. Holy Spirit, clear the clouds in our mind and let us understand that although we have great intelligence and skill, we are eternally lost unless we accept Jesus as our loving Shepherd. Make us humble and thankful for His mercy and care. Amen. Mark 6: 30-34
