Sheep In The Midst Of Wolves

Jesus, protect us as we follow You through an ever more perilous world. We know You will never leave Your flock, but at times it is so hard to see You and we become fearful. Staying with the flock is difficult because so many different dangers lurk on all sides of us and try to harm us. Sometimes they succeed and then we cry out to You for help and forgiveness. Lord, help us withstand all that we encounter as we follow You. Holy Spirit be our look out and warn us of the dangers around us and arm us with Your gifts to fend them off. Amen. Matthew 10: 16-23
