Jesus, help us to place ourselves at the disposal of those in need. Often our desire for success and recognition stand in the way of our efforts to be charitable to others. O Lord, we so desperately need your grace to be humble and at peace with ourselves. Holy Spirit, inspire in us your gifts so that we can desire eternal life and pleasing God above all else. Jesus, thank you for serving us and providing us with all that we have. Amen. Mark 9: 30-37
