Jesus, today many people say that you are not God's son. Many people say nothing about you because they do not even know about you. Many people work feverishly every day to erase your Word from our minds. O Lord, give us the help that we will never forget who you are, either in our thoughts or in our deeds. Help us to lose our lives in service to others so that we may gain life eternal with you in your kingdom. Give us courage that we will be able to face the trials and troubles that are associated with knowing and proclaiming your love. Amen. Mark 8:27-35
