Jesus,you bestowed the power and authourity to do miracles on your disciples. You commanded them to proclaim your kingdom thoughout the lands without frills or without the burden of personal possessions with them. Lord, make us content with what is necessary in our lives and save us from being obsessed with what we desire in life. Give us the courage to go out and live our lives in a way that proclaims your kingdom to everyone that we meet. Amen. Luke 9: 1-6
